About Nederhögen Vildmarkscenter
Our main building has a unique history. Originally built as a school in the 1950s, it closed in the 1980s and was later transformed into a hostel and wilderness center in the 1990s.
Today, the building is the heart of Nederhögen Wilderness Center. On the upper floor you’ll find our restaurant, reception, tourist information desk, and a small souvenir shop. Next to the dining room is a flexible conference space with a sliding wall that can open up into the restaurant for larger gatherings.
The ground floor offers plenty of space for fun and relaxation, including a playroom and lounge with table tennis and billiards. Here you’ll also find our newly renovated sauna with showers and changing rooms, the perfect place to unwind after a day outdoors.
Guest rooms share toilets and showers, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire building.
